Things You Can Use Peroxide For!
Peroxide, invented during WWI., saved many injured and helped cleanse the hospitals.
ACNE:
When acne becomes infected, use peroxide instead of antibacterial soap. Using it on acne, will work in the same way, as it does on wounds. It will clean the area and kill unwanted bacteria.
CLEAN YOUR CONTACTS:
Peroxide is less expensive and can clean your lens quickly and easily.
DEODORANT:
Mix peroxide with dish soap at 1/2 and 1/2, to make an effective deodorant. Apply the mixture to your underarms, leaving it in place for thirty minutes, then rinse it off. Doing so will help you keep dry and odor-free for up to 24 hours. You can use this method every day, but dish soap is sticky. Work's great in a pinch.
WHITEN YOUR NAILS:
Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent way to whiten your nails. If you’re looking to lighten their appearance and make them brighter, soak a cotton ball with peroxide and then dab each fingernail.
TEETH WHITENER:
Teeth looking bright, swish peroxide around in your mouth for at least thirty seconds, once a week,
it also acts as a bleaching agent.
KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLEAN:
Take one (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) peroxide and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. No more mouth sores and paste.
TOOTH PASTE:
Mix a small amount of baking soda and peroxide and use to brush your teeth. Peroxide also serves as an excellent denture cleaner. Use one capful of hydrogen peroxide (the little white cap that comes with the bottle), hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, spit it out. No more canker sores and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes.
TOOTH BRUSHES:
Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs.
CANKER SORES:
Small ulcers that form in your mouth, can be cured with the help of peroxide. Combine peroxide and water, 50/50, swish in your mouth for about thirty seconds. Spit out, rinse with water, it will help you to get rid of a canker sore.
GUM DISEASE:
Hydrogen peroxide is great for killing the germs and bacteria that cause gingivitis. To help battle gum disease, mix a teaspoon of peroxide with a teaspoon of baking soda to create a paste. Place it on your toothbrush. Gently brush the paste onto your gums and along your gum line. Spit the paste out and thoroughly rinse your mouth out with water. Complete this a couple of times a week for several weeks to help battle gingivitis.
SMALL CUTS:
Apply peroxide to the wound to clean away any dead tissue. Doing this will help the wound to stop bleeding, and stops the infections from forming. Peroxide on small cuts and wounds is one of the most popular uses.
YEAST INFECTIONS:
Peroxide is naturally made in the vagina and works to prevent yeast infections.Yeast infections occur when your body produces too much yeast, usually needing a perscription.
USE IN A BATH:
USE two quarts of peroxide in your bath. Great for helping you rid your body of all kinds of infections from the lower half of your body, including many STDs. Soak in the tub for at least thirty minutes to ensure you are free of germs. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections.
FOOT FUNGUS:
Spray a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water (especially the toes) every night and let dry.
Itching and burning, combine equal parts water and peroxide, and apply to the foot until your athlete’s foot is cured. You can also use the mixture on your shower shoes to stop foot fungus in its tracks.
CORNS AND CALLUSES:
Peroxide can significantly soften those pesky corns and calluses.
Mix one cup of the peroxide with 3 -1/2 cup of water in a bowl, mix well, and let sit for five minutes. Soak your foot for fifteen minutes. Remove your foot ,rinse it with clean water and dry. Do this a few times a week for three weeks.
INFECTIONS:
Soak any infections or cuts in peroxide several times a day. Gangrene would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide. Apply it directly to the wound to clean away any dead tissue. Doing this will help the wound to cease bleeding, and preventing any infections from forming.
COLDS:
Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold or plugged sinus. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue. While there is no cure for the common cold, you can use hydrogen peroxide to help manage many of the symptoms that are a part of the flu and the common cold.

Put the mixture in a nasal spray container and spray it into your nose, blow back out after fifteen seconds. Spraying peroxide into your nasal passages should help kill the infection.
EAR INFECTIONS:
Peroxide can help you kill the bacteria that causes ear infections. Keep in mind that ear infections can get serious, so you may still want to visit the doctor if you can't cure your ear infection with this method. Put a couple drops in your ear. Let the ear get warm and bubble for a few minutes--drain out. Add cotton balls to catch excess fluid and keep air from getting in.
EAR WAX:
Trouble hearing, it may be buildup of ear wax in your ears. Use hydrogen peroxide to get rid of ear wax the same as an ear infection.

WOUND CLEANSING:
Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to 10 minutes several times a day. Her husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.
(There is controversy about this amongst health professionals.)
HAIR-LIGHTING:
Like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair, but more natural highlights. It also lightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.
Cleaning
Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.
After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.
Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.
You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.
I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this.
Another place it's great is in the bathroom, if someone has been careless, has peed on the floor around the toilet, and it's begun to smell of urine. Just put some peroxide in a spray bottle spray. In the blink of an eye all the smell will be gone and the bacteria eliminated!
